Description 

The SNOWSPORT™ Down Pressure Kit is an optional accessory exclusively designed to function with the SNOWSPORT™ Electric Plow Winch. This kit is engineered to maintain constant down pressure when needed on your blade to easily remove compacted and drifted snow. The SNOWSPORT™ Down Pressure Kit is recommended for use only on SNOWSPORT® HD or LT Utility Plows when equipped with the SNOWSPORT™ Electric Plow Winch.

  • Quick and simple installation.
  • Works across multiple surfaces to remove troublesome snow.
  • Kit contains synthetic cable, two down pressure straps and two carabiners.

Note: Excessive down pressure may increase wear on rubber cutting edge and may cause damage to surfaces.

It works pretty well on my gravel driveway when pushing heavy, wet snow, but when it comes to the end of the run and must push into the pile it failed in its 2nd year of use. One of the end loops popped the stitching. So the strap and its stitching are not heavy duty enough for the heavy wet snow storms here in New Hampshire.
